Swirled Henna uses completely natural ingredients and products.
Henna contains henna powder, eucalyptus essential oil, sugar and lemon juice.
Do not consume.
-
Natural henna will last 1-3 weeks on the skin before fading.
The more water used, the quicker the henna will fade.
-
Apply henna to clean, un-moisturised skin. Keep henna on for at least 4-6 hours. Do not cover henna with a sock, glove or cling wrap. Moisture will smudge design, even if its fully dry!
Optional tip: Hold hands in front of heater whilst paste is on (heat makes henna stain darker)
Remove by flaking off or with oil (mustard oil works best!)
Pat dry with paper towel and avoid scrubbing with water for first 24 hours.
Henna will be bright orange at first and develop into a dark maroon/red colour.
Henna should be done 2-3 days prior to event.
-
Henna is a stain and is not a layer on the skin.
You can make wudhu and pray with henna.
